After adjustment for age, body-mass index, blood markers and health behaviors, a higher abdominal fat ratio was associated with an older MRI-derived brain-age gap, while a higher liver-to-spleen attenuation ratio was associated with a younger gap. Both measures retained independent associations and added modest explanatory value beyond clinical covariates. The study is cross-sectional and associative; it does not show that changing either CT marker will alter brain aging.",
