"body_text": "JWST/MIRI spectroscopy of the UV-bright galaxy GHZ8 at redshift 10.23 detected the hydrogen-beta plus oxygen complex at about five sigma and hydrogen-alpha at about four sigma. NIRCam imaging resolves a bright main component and a compact southeastern clump separated by 0.16 arcseconds, roughly 600 parsecs. Their blue ultraviolet slopes indicate young stellar populations; modeling of the smaller clump favors an extremely young, interstellar-medium-poor population with a high ionizing-photon escape fraction. The main component is consistent with a recent short burst or less than 50 million years of continuous star formation. A merger-induced starburst remains a possibility, not a conclusion, pending deeper imaging or resolved kinematics.",
